The Regina Police Service has been busy over the past few days, responding to five firearms offences since Friday.

On June 24, 2016, around 1:30 p.m., police responded to a call of a man in possession of a firearm in the 1000 block of Robinson Street. Later that same day, around 6:30 p.m., police responded to another call in the 1400 block of Robinson Street.

The calls continued on June 25, 2016. At 11:55 a.m., police responded to a report of males in a vehicle pointing a firearm in the 1300 block of Robinson Street. Later that day, around 4:00 p.m., there was a report of a firearm discharged in the 2900 block of Eighth Avenue. Finally, around 11:20 p.m., a window in a residence was shot with a firearm in the 1300 block of Athol Street.

On June 25 and 26, 2016, police made a number of arrests and seized firearms believed to be related to some of these calls. All incidents are still under investigation and no charges have been laid. No one was injured in any of the calls.
