RCMP say a fire that damaged a church on a southern Saskatchewan reserve over the weekend is being investigated as arson.
Mounties were called to the fire on the Standing Buffalo First Nation around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Officers kept the fire under control until firefighters from nearby Fort Qu’Appelle arrived and extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
Damage to the church is estimated in the thousands.
