A second person has been charged in the deaths of a two men in a northern Saskatchewan house fire more than four years ago.

Jack Cochrane and Phillip Nighttraveller were killed in the January 2010 blaze in Uranium City.

Michael LaRocque, a 29-year-old man from Stony Rapids, Sask., was arrested early last month and charged with two counts of manslaughter.

RCMP now say a 31-year British Columbia man was arrested recently on Vancouver Island and is facing the same charges.

Christopher Champagne was returned to Saskatchewan and was to make his first court appearance Monday in La Ronge.
