The drugstore is Bengough, Sask. is considered a total loss after a fire Sunday evening.
According to Coronach RCMP, witnesses saw fire coming from the roof of Bengough Drugs around 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Upon arrival, fire crews found the building completely engulfed in flames. Crews battled the fire until early Monday morning.
It is believed that the fire started in the building’s roof or attic. RCMP said there is no reason to believe the fire is suspicious.
Members of the Bengough community are feeling the loss, offering support to the building’s owners on Facebook.
