A youth has been charged after an attempted robbery at a business in Balgonie, Sask.
RCMP say a male with his face covered entered the business on Railway Street and demanded cash just after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
He then fled without stealing any money or items and was located by RCMP a short time later and arrested.
An employee who was present at the time of the incident was not injured.
A 14-year-old boy from the Balgonie area is scheduled to appear in youth court on a charge of robbery Nov. 1. He cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
