An elderly man suffered only minor injuries after the medical scooter he was riding collided with an SUV in downtown Regina.
The collision happened at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Smith Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the scooter was crossing Smith Street in a crosswalk when it collided with the SUV, which was turning south onto the street from 11th Avenue.
The 83-year-old man on the scooter was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the SUV wasn’t hurt.
The collision remains under investigation and police say it isn’t known at this point whether any charges will be laid.
