Crews are working around the clock to clear Regina streets of the snow that blanketed the city over the weekend.

Some areas of the city received upwards of 30 centimetres of snow.

Officials say major arteries, such as Albert Street and Victoria Avenue, have been cleared and crews are now working on category 2 streets, including Elphinstone Street and Broadway Avenue. They are also busy clearing downtown streets and sidewalks.

Regina police say 50 collisions were reported between Friday night and Tuesday morning, five of them resulting in minor injuries.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time to get to their destination, and to give crews space to work.
