CTV Regina will say "good morning" to its viewers in the city and across southern Saskatchewan for the first time ever next week.

CTV Morning Live officially launches Monday at 6 a.m., offering viewers a new way to start the day.

The three-hour show will deliver a lively mix of breaking local news, weather, traffic, sports and much more.

Co-hosts Shallima Maharaj and Jonathan Glasgow lead an energetic and talented on-air team that includes weather anchor Carey Smith and web, traffic and sports anchor Lindsay Dunn.

On Friday, CTV Regina opened the doors of the new morning show set for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Several dignitaries were on hand for the event, including Regina city councillor Michael Fougere, who attended on behalf of Mayor Pat Fiacco, and Yorkton Mayor James Wilson.
