Police say the death of a 16-year-old boy in North Central Regina is being investigated as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Darian Denzel Moise of Regina. His family has been notified of his death.

Around 7 p.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Robinson Street for a report of a deceased male. When police and EMS arrived, they found Moise dead at the scene.

The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, the coroner’s office, and uniformed members of the Community Services Division are continuing to investigate.

The death is Regina’s seventh homicide of the year.
