Death of boy found in creek not criminal: police

Regina police say there was nothing criminal in the death of a 14-year-old boy who was found in a creek.

Emergency crews performed CPR after the teen was found in the city's east end Wednesday afternoon, but he was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police say they will not release the boy's name since it is not a criminal case.

The coroner's office is investigating to determine the circumstances of the boy's death.
