Police are trying to identify the driver of a vehicle that caused thousands of dollars in damage to two grain bins on a rural property southeast of Indian Head, Sask.

RCMP say it appears one of the steel grain bins was struck by a vehicle, which also drove through the second bin.

The bins did not contain any grain at the time of the incident, which happened sometime between June 26 and June 29.

Police believe a model of Chervrolet vehicle was involved in the incident. Damage is estimated at $12,000 to $16,000.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Indian Head RCMP detachment at 306-695-5200 or Crime Stoppers.
