A 22-year-old Estevan man has pleaded guilty to impaired driving causing death in a fatal rollover crash in Regina last year.

Brandon Vincent Marcotte entered the plea Wednesday and the case was adjourned until July 21 for sentencing, a court clerk confirmed Thursday.

Marcotte was charged in September after the crash, which killed an 18-year-old Regina woman, who has been identified in the media as Presli Dufour.

Police say Marcotte was the driver of an SUV that went out of control on a curve at the intersection of Saskatchewan Drive and Lewvan Drive in Regina on April 22.

The SUV rolled and ended up on its roof beside a concrete pillar of a railway bridge.
