A fatal collision claimed the life of one driver Saturday night.

At about 11:30PM, an SUV and a pick-up truck crashed on highway 6, about 4 kilometers north of Regina.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased on scene. The passenger in the SUV and the people in the pick-up truck were all taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

A Traffic Reconstructionist was called to assist with the investigation, but the report has not yet been released.

The investigation into the collision is continuing. Alcohol is believed to be involved and reduced visibility due to a thick fog cove may have contributed to the crash.

Charges may be pending upon further investigation.

The name of the deceased or any others involved is not being released at this time.
