It isn't just homes in the Estevan area that are having flooding issues but now Boundary Dam is having problems because of the excessive water. According to SaskPower officials, the road between the coal mine and Boundary Dam has been flooded, and coal can't be transported to the dam.

However, officials say that they have three weeks of supply on hand at the dam and that they have reduced production to maintain that the coal lasts.

They say no customers will be affected and they have plenty of water and natural gas to use for power as well.

SaskPower also say they will not ask customers to stop using power. They believe the road will be cleared up before their supply runs out.
