It's been almost two decades since Fuddruckers closed its doors in north Regina, but burger fans rejoice, the popular burger joint is getting ready to re-open.

A brand new Fuddruckers, under new management, will open Dec. 1 at 2540 Victoria Avenue East.

The signature red paint is already up on one side of the building.

Franchise owner Randy Nicolle says the city fully approved the construction on Wednesday.

Saskatoon is currently the only city to have a Fuddruckers in Canada but Nicolle says there are plans to build Fuddruckers locations in Calgary and Edmonton.

The restaurant will employ approximately 75 people.
