A garage and camper were completely destroyed by a fire on Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Edward Street around noon. Upon arrival, crews found a wood attached garage completely involved in the blaze. It took several hours to get the fire under control.
The lights at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Lewvan Drive were out for several hours as crews controlled the blaze, leading to traffic delays.
There is no word on the cause of the fire or the cost of the damage. An investigator will look at the scene on Monday.
