Saskatchewan’s premier says the government will work to address the shortage of doctors in Regina emergency rooms.
The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region says it’s currently short nine or 10 ER physicians.
The Pasqua Hospital has hinted at closing its ER for part of the day if more doctors aren't found soon.
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall says the situation is one of the issues the government plans to tackle in the fall session of the legislature.
