Canada’s Governor General, David Johnston, and his wife Sharon were in Regina on Wednesday to show support for the evacuees of the northern Saskatchewan wildfires.
The Governor General was joined by Vaughn Solomon Schofield, the Lieutenant-Governor of Saskatchewan.
The officials visited with wildfire evacuees at an emergency shelter at Evraz Place.
