Regina police converged on the 1000 block of Robinson Street Friday after reports of a person with a gun.

Officers were called to a home on the block at about 1:30 p.m., police said in a media release. Reports indicated a male — police did not clarify his age — was carrying a gun and spotted entering a residence.

When police arrived, they witnessed two males leaving the home and entering another house on the 1100 block of Retallack Street.

Both houses were cleared, according to police. A firearm was not found, but a 16-year-old boy was arrested on existing warrants.

No other charges have been laid.
