After a slight delay, the Lowes hardware store in Regina is close to its official grand opening.
Today, employees helped with the ceremonial board cutting to celebrate the upcoming opening.
According to company officials, each store location, on average, creates 175 local jobs and represents an investment of $24 million.
Lowes says Saskatchewan's robust economy is a perfect fit for the retailer.
The new store is set to open its doors next Monday.
