A new report shows Regina had the fastest growth in home prices in the country in December.

The Canadian Real Estate Association says the MLS Home Price Index in the city was up 10.5 per cent from a year earlier.

Still, that was the smallest increase since March 2012.

Nationally, home sales edged down 0.5 per cent from November. The average sale price rose 1.6 per cent on a year-over-year basis.
