Regina’s two hospitals are still dealing with overcrowding, but health officials say further cancellations of surgeries and procedures may not be necessary.

As of Monday morning, the Regina General Hospital was at 115 per cent capacity, while the Pasqua Hospital was at 104 per cent.

The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region says the number of patients typically declines around the holiday season.

Some elective surgeries and procedures were cancelled yesterday and last week due to overcrowding.
