The Regina Humane Society is operating above capacity and it needs the public's help to ease the crisis.
Space has run out at the center. Nearly 250 animals are currently in the society's care.
The RHS says that if suitable homes for the pets aren't found within the next few days, it will be forced to begin destroying the animals.
