Impaired driving has claimed another life in Saskatchewan.
Just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, Estevan RCMP say a west-bound SUV collided with a south-bound car at the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 39, west of Bienfait.
35-year-old Bisho Kalappurakkal of Estevan died at the scene. A 28 year old passenger in the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV, 59-year-old Debra Hamann of Bienfait has been charged with impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death.
Hamann will appear in Estevan court on August 14th.
