Jason Matity is the Assignment Editor at CTV Regina.
Jason was born and raised in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, a small rural community east of Regina. He minored in history and political science before completing a Journalism Degree at the University Of Regina. Prior to joining CTV, his broadcast experience included an internship and contracts in broadcast television, along with stints in local newspaper and radio journalism. Jason would become a Farm Reporter with CTV Regina in 1997. He moved into general assignment reporting in 1999 and Rural Issues in 2001. Jason also hosts Reel ‘Em In, Saskatchewan's only locally broadcast fishing program. An avid angler, Jason cherishes the opportunity to bring one of his favorite pastimes to CTV's faithful viewers.
Jason enjoys tennis, running and fishing.
