A Regina man accused in the death of a four-year-old girl has been released on bail.

Kevin Goforth was released from custody Friday under several conditions.

They include that he have no contact with his co-accused wife, Tammy Goforth, who was released on bail Thursday.

The couple is charged with manslaughter in the death of four-year-old June Goforth.

The two are also accused of criminal negligence causing bodily harm involving the girl’s two-year-old sister.

Regina police allege the two young girls were abused and neglected while they were living in the Goforths’ home.

On Aug. 1, June Goforth became unresponsive and was taken to hospital, where she later died.

Tammy Goforth is scheduled to return to court Aug. 28 and Kevin Goforth’s next appearance is set for Sept. 12.
