A Regina man claims he was confined after engaging in a paid act with a female sex trade worker.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m Friday evening, a male entered a Regina police station and reported that he had been ‘forcibly confined, assaulted, and robbed after paying for and engaging in an act with an adult female sex trade worker in a house in the 1100 block of McTavish St.'

Once the act was completed, an adult male emerged from inside the house, displaying a weapon, and demanded money, an ATM card and its PIN number from the ‘John.'

The armed suspect and female worker then confined the ‘John' in the house until he released the money. The ATM card was used to drain the man's bank account.

As police continued to investigate this claim early Saturday morning, they arrived at the house on McTavish St and witnessed a sex act occurring inside the home. The act was interrupted by a man emerging from hiding with a weapon. Police entered the house and arrested an adult female and an adult male.

Police are continuing to investigate.
