A man is in hospital after a pick-up and a marked police cruiser crashed on Monday night.
The collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on Dewdney Avenue and Albert Street.
Police say the cruiser was headed westbound on Dewdney Avenue through the intersection at Albert Street with its lights and sirens on when it was hit by the truck, which was traveling southbound on Albert Street.
One of the five people in the truck was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck has been charged with failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
