A 39-year-old man has now been charged after allegedly threatening his former employer with explosives in Yorkton.

James Patrick Loder has been charged with one count of possession of unmarked explosives, one count of possession of explosive substances, and one count of possession of property under $5,000.

Police got a report on Tuesday about explosives in a home. Mounties say when they searched the house; they found explosives and other stolen property.  The police bomb disposal unit was called in.

Loder, who is the owner of the home, was subsequently arrested.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on October 5, 2015.
