A 43-year-old man was taken hospital with serious injuries after a fight in the 1200 block of McTavish Street on Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the area around 5:25 p.m. Police say the fight turned into a weapons offence.
The man was hospitalized with a stab wound and is now in stable condition.
Police have now charged 23-year-old Nathan Fox with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a probation order. He will make his first court appearance on Tuesday morning.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
