A 25 year old man from St. Walburg has died from his injuries.
RCMP say the man was riding on the tailgate of a truck, heading home from a wedding reception when the accident happened early Sunday morning.
He was taken to hospital with severe head injuries, and died late Monday night.
No name has been released, and police are investigating.
St. Walburg is about 150 kilometers northwest of the Battlefords.
