RCMP say no foul play is suspected after a man was found dead inside a crashed stolen car in the Kamsack area.

On Monday, a landowner called police after finding a deceased person inside a vehicle in one of their fields.

The car had been reported stolen on Aug. 15, and RCMP say it appears the driver tried to cross a field and crashed into a ravine. It’s believed the vehicle was in the field for 10 days before it was found.

The driver has been identified as a 22-year-old man from the Keeseekoose First Nation. His family has been notified of his death but RCMP are not releasing his name.

The incident is not considered suspicious and police do not believe anyone else was involved.
