Regina Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Monday night.

Police say the man was crossing 3rd Avenue at the alley, heading north to south, just before 10 p.m. A vehicle was travelling eastbound on 3rd Avenue approaching Albert Street when it struck the pedestrian.

The vehicle did not stop and fled southbound on Albert Street.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect vehicle is being described as a black truck, possibly a Dodge.
