A 31-year-old man is dead after a fuel truck and SUV collided in southern Saskatchewan.

RCMP were called just after 6 p.m. Wednesday to the crash, which occurred about 28 kilometres north of Radville, near the junction of highways 13 and 28.

A westbound SUV collided with an eastbound fuel truck on Highway 13, RCMP said in a media release.

The driver of the SUV died at the scene. He was from Pangman, Sask. according to police.

The man driving the fuel truck was treated at the scene.

Fuel spilled onto the highway after the crash and traffic was re-routed as emergency crews cleaned the spill.
