RCMP are continuing to investigate a single-vehicle collision that sent one man to hospital Saturday afternoon.

Just after 4:45 p.m., Mounties say they were called to the scene near Highway 1 and the Belle Plaine overpass.

Police say a Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound on Highway 1 when it entered the ditch, lost control, rolled and came to rest in a body of water.

A 33-year-old man was transported the Regina General Hospital by STARS with undetermined injuries, according to RCMP.

Police searched the water to confirm no other occupants were involved in the crash and officers say they believe alcohol was a factor.
