Police are looking for a suspect after an attempted child luring in Langenburg, Sask.

RCMP say four young children were walking to a park when they were approached by a man in a minivan Thursday afternoon.

“The male pulled up beside the children and attempted to order them to get in his vehicle,” Mounties said in a news release. “The children ran away from the unknown male.”

The man is described as a late-aged Caucasian with a clean face and medium build. He was wearing a red-and-black ball cap and was driving a dirty red or burgundy minivan with a small, suction-type Canadian flag on its roof just above the windshield.

Anyone with information that could help police locate the man is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
