46-year-old Duane Lang of Regina man died while vacationing in Mexico on July 28. Now, Mexican police confrim Lang was the victim of a homicide.
Police say Lang was stabbed seven times, and found in a pool of blood. His landlord discovered Lang's body in his apartment on July 30.
Canadian officials are in contact with local authorities to gather more information.
His family says Lang was a frequent visitor to Mexico. He had been a partner in a local family run insurance company for 25 years.
