Football fans will soon have a chance to own a piece of Regina’s history.

The City of Regina is teaming up with McDougall Auctions to sell pieces from Old Mosaic Stadium.

According to a news release, there will be a “wide range of assets” available at the auction, including signage, field lighting, and seatbacks.

The auction is part of Old Mosiac’s decommissioning. While the countdown to its demolition is slowly starting, the stadium was still used this spring. The city has it was used for nearly 400 hours of community programing. Community programing will move to New Mosaic after the July 1st grand opening.

Items from Old Mosaic are still being catalogued, and will be up for auction beginning July 5th.

In a news release, the city said more information about the demolition of Old Mosaic will be released in the coming months.
