An inmate is back in custody after he escaped from the Regina Correctional Centre earlier this week.
Shaun William Wilton was arrested Tuesday night in Regina after he escaped while working outside the jail on Monday.
Wilton, 30, is serving a one-year sentence for possession of firearms, failure to comply and possession of stolen property.
The province says it is reviewing the incident to determine the circumstances of the escape and what could be done to prevent similar incidents in the future.
