Former Saskatchewan Roughriders Scott Schultz and Tim McCray will be the newest inductees to the Plaza of Honour, the team announced Tuesday.

Schultz spent all nine seasons of his CFL career as a defensive tackle with the Riders and helped Saskatchewan win a Grey Cup in 2007.

The Moose Jaw native is sixth in all-time franchise quarterback sacks with 35 and was known for his signature “Moose Jaw stomp” sack dance.

McCray played five of his seven CFL seasons with Saskatchewan and won a Grey Cup with the team in 1989.

The Georgia-born running back is seventh on the Riders’ all-time rushing list with 2,898 yards and ninth in all-time kickoff returns with 81 for 1,829 yards.

This year’s Plaza of Honour dinner will be held Sept. 25 at the Credit Union Eventplex at Evraz Place.

Information on tickets or corporate tables is available by contacting the Saskatchewan Roughrider Ticket Office at 306-525-1281 or 1-888-474-3377 or any Plaza of Honour committee member.
