Police are investigating after gunshots were fired into a house in east Regina early Wednesday morning.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police were called to Young Crescent after a resident reported that the windows of their house had been shot out.

Police say the shots went through the front living room window, but nobody inside the home was injured.

A witness saw several people running from the area after hearing the gunshots but, at this point, it isn’t known whether they were involved in the incident, police said.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
