An early morning fire destroyed a home near Buffalo Pound Lake.
The Moose Jaw Fire Department said they were called around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived the home was engulfed in flames.
The family inside managed to escape, however, one man was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation. He has since been released.
Officials describe the home as a total loss and estimate the cost to be $150,000-$200,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
