Regina police continue to investigate an assault with a weapon that occurred Friday morning.
Around 6:45 a.m., police were called to the 800 block of Garnet Street north on the report of an injured person.
Officers say they found a 21-year-old man with injuries consistent with a weapons assault.
Police say the man was sent to hospital with serious injuries and is in stable condition.
