A Weyburn, Saskatchewan restaurant embroiled in a controversy over temporary foreign workers has announced changes to its business.

Brothers Classic Grill and Pizza is at the centre of allegations that foreigners were given priority work status and in some cases took the jobs of Canadians.

The owners of Brothers Classic Grill and Pizza say they recently changed the restaurant's hours, laid everyone off, and offered workers their jobs back with new hours.

They say some temporary foreign workers are being used to fill vacant shifts, but stressed no new employees have been hired.
