Police are searching for an inmate who has escaped from the Regina Correctional Centre.
Shawn William Wilton, 30, was working outside the jail on Monday and was reported missing about 2:30 p.m.
He is described as being five-foot-eight-inches tall and weighing 154 pounds.
He is of medium build and has brown eyes and black hair
Wilton sports several tattoos on his arms, leg and back.
He is serving a one-year sentence for possession of firearms, failure to comply and possession of stolen property.
