The Saskatchewan government says it has received more than 1,500 claims for flood disaster assistance.
The province has approved 149 municipalities for designation under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program.
It also says 73 claims have triggered a three thousand dollar emergency advance payment, for a total of $219,000.
The province says most of the lakes and rivers have reached peak levels and most are in recession.
