A 34-year-old Regina man has been charged after an alleged assault that left a woman injured.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Albert Street and Saskatchewan Drive for a report of an assault Friday evening.
Police say a man assaulted a 43-year-old woman and then fled the scene before officers arrived.
The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated by EMS.
Maurice Grant Johnson was later arrested and charged with assault. He is scheduled to appear in court April 9.
