Estevan emergency crews were called to a train derailment near Highway #39 on Saturday night.
Shortly after 9 PM, the Estevan Fire Department, Police Service and RCMP were called to the scene west of Estevan, near the intersection of Highway #39 and Woodlawn Avenue.
Two empty grain cars were found to be derailed, with a third car on the verge of derailment. There was no spill from any of the cars and no injuries occurred from the incident.
The highway remained open throughout the evening, and no other damage to any other property occurred.
After about four hours, the tracks were cleared by CP Railway representatives. CP Police arrived to the derailment site and are investigating the incident.
