Crews responded to an early morning house fire in Moose Jaw on Monday.

At about 3:45AM, police and the fire department were called to the 1000 block of Caribou Street East for a report of a house fire.

There were two occupants in the house at the time of the fire. Both were able to leave the house without injury.

Damage resulting from the fire is estimated at $50,000.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the cause of the fire was accidental due to improper installation of a home-wired stereo.
