Molly Thomas is thrilled to co-host CTV Regina Morning Live in her hometown. She was born and raised in the Queen City where she completed a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism.

Thomas has worked for all three major networks in Canada and one national news station abroad. Apart from Regina, her career has taken her to Saskatoon, Edmonton, Quebec City, Rwanda and Uganda.  She has worked as a video journalist, anchor, associate producer, production assistant, script writer and has freelanced from overseas.

The highlight of her career was working for Orinfor as a National English Reporter during the 2010 Presidential Election in Rwanda.  She's also proud to have been apart of the national Award-winning documentary DENENDEH, which exposed the failing injection of outsiders into Northern Saskatchewan." Denendeh won 1st Place at the 2010 Journalists for Human Rights Docfest in the category Small Budget under 1,000. The film also took home 1st Place in Editing and Sound Design at the 2010 National Student Film Awards.

Thomas loves to travel and learn new languages. She's been to 12 countries on five continents and has studied university-level English, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese. In her spare time, Thomas enjoys a competitive game of basketball and loves to dance.
